The car has a lot of miles on it. I have read your reply and it made sense to me, is this something u have done before yourself? I have an Audi certified mechanic who I trust with my Audi work. (Trust as much as u can lol) but like to do my homework before turning it over to him as these car's require a lot of troubleshooting. And this problem is not as easy to explain as most! Maybe it is common not sure. Would like to have it fixed but could it be something else? could it have anything to do with transmission fluid? I know it is seeping. But was changed not long ago. Ive owned the car out right since the year 2000 nothing major as far as work goes except normal repair's, timing belts brakes ,ect. it has over 200,000 miles not exactly sure how many because the mileage light on IC has died recently as well. What I mean is the tranny engine everything original. i own to Audis and it seems that when they sit the tend to have more problems! thank you for your time.
