I bought a 2014 Audi Q5 TDI premium plus with 20" summer performance tires. My question is for winter tire replacement. Is it possible to put 16 inch steel rim+ tires for Audi Q5. The service representative at dealer was not sure whether the brake calipers would accomodate 16 inch wheels for Q5. I am looking at 16 inch to get as much as increase in sidewalls as possible. He told that I could go with 17inch rim + tire package from them for close to $3000 for all inclusive package of installing and balancing it. Seems little pricy. Should I go with tirerack.com or STS tires to do the same job for winter rim/tire package?
Any recommendation/suggestions are welcomed.
