You need the VAG COM to make the changes on onboard computer system . Ross VAG com ( to your laptop ) costs about $200
Its good to have because if you have any warning lights on your car , you can diagnose, get error code, google , and know ahead of time if something is wrong with your car, if it can wait , or you can order the part yourself and get an indie mechanic repair vs going to the dealer.
