    Oh so sorry, just seen this.
    The issue I had was the error message Gearbox malfunction. I would have to pull over turn engine off & restart. This went on for a very long time. i had to either sell it or repair it. Long story short, i paid $9,000 to have it and couple of other things fixed. It now drives like a new car!!! I was on the verge of selling it & getting a 2024 Golf R. I'm glad I didn't because I didn't want to go back to paying $600 a month car note!

    HI Arn,

    i ran into your post about having missing gear on your s4 in 2016

    i am having the exact same issue with my a6, i am just wondering if the mechatronic repair kit worked for you ?

    if not how did you fix it ?
