Quick update,
I spoke with the Audi dealer parts department and they weren’t super helpful but they tried. I’ve also been talking with some knowledgeable guys on the forums though and they were more positive about the possible ease of install.
Are your sport seats heated and ventilated?

Yeah I’ve been trying to research as many threads as I can find on the topic as well. Some say plug and play, the wiring harnesses are the same and I think I came across one talking about heated seat functionality having to possibly be coded.

My seats are black as well and I’m located near the Calabasas area.

I’ll put a call into a local Audi dealer and see what they say about any possible hurdles in a seat swap and let you know.

I haven't talked to a dealer about error codes, but from reading other threads on this site, it may be an issue where a professional (dealer or auto shop) would be able to resolve.

I picked up a 2019 Q5 Prestige last week with 7k miles on it. It has the regular seats in really excellent condition and might be interested in swapping seats with you.
