hey sorry i just saw this now. I used a VAG COM , which is a third part hardware device that connect Laptop to OB2 beneath dashboard. You have to load a software on laptop and go into setting and change a few. Its more complicated explaining than actually doing it. The commands laterally tell you what to do when you load the software. Unfortunately I have already sold the hardware so I cant explain much more

Can I ask how did you install this on your car? Or is it just something on your computer and then you plug it into the car? How do you even plug it into the car? And then I guess once everything is set in my computer how do you set up the key/car relationship to open the top when pushing the lock and unlock button?

Hey I'm extremely inexperienced with cars, but I REALLY want to be able to open and close my top with my key, I have keyless entry and my car is new enough to do it per your video... I'm wondering if you can give me more in-depth instruction, like what to buy in order to do this and download onto my computer and all of that?
