hi there, i noticed you sent me some info about my audi post named "LOTS OF PROBLEMS" in regards to what i thought could have been the ecu of the trans.... firstly thank you for your advice! you asked whether or not it was CVT or tiptronic? im a very ignorant person when it comes to cars but im gonna say tip tronic as my gearbox has PRND then i can push it over to the left hand side where i hav a + and - .... also the car is a front wheel drive... its a 2001 b6 2.0 litre

I am an aerospace engineer, but the curiousity of anything mechanical is strong. I just happen to have a real interest in cars and always have.

    lyleswk,

Even before I got really into this site, I noticed seeing your name on numerous threads of all different subjects. I am impressed with your car collection which I've seen posted in some threads. The thing that intrigued me enough to pm you is that you mentioned you are an engineer. I, myself, am interested in joining the engineering field once I get out of the Navy. I wanted to maybe pick your brain, based upon what kind of engineer you are. If you're willing, I'd appreciate the response.

    Thanks,
    Rory
