i currently have a 2018 Audi Q5. I've replaced the water pump and thermostat just in the last 2 weeks. Today I took the car to the Audi dealer and they said i would need a coolant control pump (PART #4H0-121-671-G). NO codes. All of the vent doors worked. So, I replaced the pump and they bleed the system.
My issue is that I have great heat (95 degrees) in the third zone (rear seating area) which was always the case prior to the Water Pump, Thermostat and Coolant Control Pump replacement. Nothing has changed including the side window / side vents the heat is just warm - not HOT like the rear seating. The center vents blow cold air - the defrost blows cold air - the floor vents blow cold air.
yikes, I would be concerned about damaged valves if the timing was allowed to be off like that from a sheared pulley. You might want to do a compression test.
Sorry to bother you but I am at a loss. You responded to a post by moosipher with a multiple misfire code.
So, went back to check the timing and randomly checked the cam gear, low-and-behold the key way sheared. New cam gear, no more cam position sensor code. Just random multiple misfires. Doesn't want to idle, but has some power back. Engine light blinks, seriously need to get this thing running... 16684 P0300 Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected,
