    Well, if it's any consolation, my dealer is only offering me 1500 for it. I'm actually selling it myself as well, but I was at least given the option to trade it in. My particular dealer also owns a VW dealership, so they might just sell it through them to make it easier.

    Amusingly I'm trading in a 98 civic lx for a q5 due in November. Was just amused that we're in the same boat.
