Hi Moviela - One of your posts about engine break-in procedures and considerations has made me curious. I follow the logic regarding the usefulness of the abrasive properties of engine oil during the first 5,000 miles of a new car's life. But are there any considerations for breaking in new pistons and rings? I've done some searching but I'm still not sure how to approach driving a '10 B8 A4 2.0T after the pistons and rings are replaced due to excessive oil consumption. Any thoughts? Your input is certainly appreciated. Thanks.

Hindsight? Totally agree now. Any suggestions on how to relieve the possible over pressure situation? I took the gage to the max. (UCL)

AC seems to be running this AM (for at least a few minutes)

It appears that the difference between the Concert and Symphony head units is a 6 disc changer in the dash slot for the Symphony, while the Concert accepts only one disc.

All cars should have an SD card slot under and just right of the Media button. Cars without the Audi Musical Interface in the glove box have a 1/8th inch stereo input jack in the center console.

If you connect an ipod or other device through the AMI or the jack in the center console the sound is exactly the same. There is only one input on the head unit. The AMI has the advantage of charging the ipod and it shows on the screen what your ears already know as far as the title.

I personally don't know what the facination with ipod's is all about. They are clumsly devices made for people who cannot pour water from a boot with instructions printed on the heel. I use mostly SD cards or a feature packed MP3 player that cost 20% of an ipod. The jack allows connection of any device with a sound output.
