Could you provide any insight to the replacement of the fuel door actuator?
I would prefer to not brake anything, I plan on doing the same but I'll post pictures of the job to help others. I have 2012 C7 Prestige. thanks for any info.

FCD, I dont have that issue! Are you sure your car doesn't put the parking brake on automatically? and therefore, the slight delay in moving when you step on the gas?

    Hello Jatmobil,

Hello! I have a question for you. I understand you have a C7 CVT (which I also have). Do you have this issue, albeit inconsistent, where you are starting from stop, and then you step on the accelerator (just regular), and the car revs past 2k RPM and hesitates to move? I don't believe experiencing this issue on my first year of ownership. I did have some shuddering issues on my second year and the service department around my area did a transmission remapping and that seemed to fix it. But I still get this issue of car revving past 2k RPM and car not moving. Again this behavior is not consistent. But it is annoying and sometimes it sucks when it happens when I'm trying to merge on to a main street. Takes away the fun of driving. Other than that, the car's tranny is good.

Yes I'm aware of some of the quirks of the CVT compared to the automatic. Just want to make my issue is unique or it also happens to you.

    Thanks again.
