2.3 NG - can't get it running after changing injector seals.
Hey fellas,
First off, it started fine and ran okay, with just a slightly lumpy idle before this project. I just got through swapping my injector seals and plastic shrouds. It went easy enough - and I'm pretty sure I've got it all put together okay. From what I can tell, I've got all the CIS-e3 wired up from what I can tell.
The car starts up fine for about 4 seconds (I'm assuming that it's running off the ColdStart valve fuel) then cuts out. If I hit the gas pedal just right, I can get it to run at 2000rpm or higher all day, but as soon as I let off the gas it dies right off. I've tested both the idle swith and WOT switch, both good.
Any thoughts?
A question and a favor.
Question. The plastic air shrouds on the injectors each have two tiny holes about midway up. I installed them up and down so that they kind of line up with the air galleys(?) on the bottom of the head. Is this correct - does it even matter where the holes are lined up at?
Favor. Do any of you guys with NG engines have a picture of the intake area all assembled? I've got the ETOS, ETKA, and Bently diagrams, but they all look a bit different than how mine came apart - so I'm trying to figure out how it's supposed to be.

Man, was I ever excited!
It was indeed disconnected. Still wouldn't hold idle. But I figured it out. Had my check valve for the charcoal canister plugged in the wrong spot. It hangs underneath the igloo, not on top of it. This ETKA diagram is wrong or maybe it's for a european car. Check valve is #1.
