Default I know for sure they did, they spent a lot of time and money to make it work..
The fact is that it IS functional, but with any load at all the DB goes crazy.

Default If so, that would be Epic Fail.
They have a user base habituated to the more sophisticated interaction enabled by sub-threading. Throwing that away would kill many of the reasons for being here.

I would strongly consider downloading the existing historical forum base and bailing out.

Default one excellent reason is to search older posts...
Especially in the individual model forums, there's TONS of information that's been posted that would be a crying shame to throw out just because of a format change. And with improved searchability...
