When replying to a post with pics, WHY does the reply carry all the pics too???

When replying to a post with pics, WHY does the reply carry all the pics too???
for example a great post with many pics creates infinitely long threads as all replies contains the same pics all over again. Totally unneeded.
Man, i wish the responsible person would come here to this forum and announce his name, that he is behind the forum change.
I wonder if he has the guts to do so.

Go into your User CP and turn OFF quoting. While you're at it, set your prefs to threaded view.. To enable Threaded view please go to here and scroll down to "Thread Display Mode", and select either Hybrid or Threaded mode.
