I think location is valuable when you are in a forum other than a regional. I could care less about account numbers, post counts, title (other than maybe Admins).
I am here for the information, not who has been here longer or who has what. Someone could be a member of 10 years and have a high post count and really know nothing while a new member with a few posts might have some really helpful information.
I believe thread ratings are possible, if titles are a must have maybe titles can be based on positive thread ratings. Of course no thread ratings in the BS forums. But the model and technical forums would be good places for thread ratings.
