That would take care of the "bump" feature. Newer posts get bumped down. This is looking better though than when it first rolled out.

That may be impossible.

Also, keep in mind that IB needs to walk the line between keeping the old members (elder members?) happy and catering to new memebers.

I hate the bump too, but it may have to stay.

The biggest annoyance I see is the sticky threads in threaded few. They can take up the whole first page. When the dust settles, it might be nice to brainstorm up a better solution for the FAQ's and other stickies.

If you set your display options in the lower left corner to "thread Start time" instead of "last post time", you will not see any old posts.
