I like that other forums allow editing for a set time period. Given the history here, perhaps a longer period is required...perhaps 24 hours. IB can dictate the edit window because they license and control the content, so they have to decide what leads to the best quality of information.

Well, only admins can promote people to the forever group. The only way to make the forever group, was to completely turn it off for everyone not in the forever group.
It's not ideal obviously.

my own posts, but I'd like to at least be able to search for posts that other people made containing my personal info (and I would inform you of those). I think you (collectively) have deleted most of the latter, at least the ones that I told you about at the time.
