Default I think you owe someone an apology.

I grabbed the properties of the pic, opened a new browser, posted the direct link in, and up popped the pic. They are cached somewhere besides AW.

Yep, here is the URL, no evil plot, maybe you should sue fotki for illegal storage of the images.

Code:

Default Fotki might have legal right to keep copies.

Default I'm just not real sure that anyone really "owns" anything

posted on a public forum is all. No hate intended, I'm just a bit fed up with all the people posting they want "their" tech articles removed, delete their accounts, and just generally slamming everything and everybody under the sun. I say that with full knowledge that some of my own posts were less than complimentary. Some of the more well known members may be lost forever, such a waste. Many of us read Fourtitude while still calling this, or now QW home. It's no different as far as I can tell. There's room for all of it.
I just think it's time to move on and work through the issues that any custom software has without all the moan and groan.
Both sites are valuable resourses, and should be allowed ample time to readjust. A cooling off period as JET mentioned is a good idea.
Make sense?
Ironically, I heard part of a news item this morning before work that facebook was having issues with a format change.

There are strict guidelines about what constitutes IP and how it is protected. It is one of the most important areas of law in American business.

There is a facebook group for haters of the new format. I do not belong to it.

Default So, are you saying the facebook ruckus is also about

what's going on in AW? That's a bit funny. I've never so much as logged on to facebook, just not my style.
