I've also heard that this engine burns through oil really quickly. Is that true and if so how quickly?

It's maybe a quarter inch off center (if that) when you look at the line against the hood line. Can a bumper (at least the plastic part) be shifted left or right slightly? The car is in perfect alignment as far as driving, but just looks a little off center in the grill.

I... Need a little help finishing this job. I installed the new stalk with trip controls, changed settings for dash and steering wheel via vag-com successfully. When I tried to install the ground to the #20 slot of the blue harness on the left of the dash the slot was already occupied. So the washer level light continues to stay on.

Any ideas?
Is there another slot that would need to be grounded or do I have to do something to the washer bottle?

After a heated conversation with the dealership service folks, it appears that the battery is not under warranty. Audi covers new car batteries for 12 months only! I wish I had read the fine print when I bought the new car.

What is your experience with the aftermarket batteries for B7?
Interstate makes a specific model, but it's rather expensive.

We just purchased a 2009 A4 Cabriolet. LOVE IT!!! I'd like to upgrade the Symphony stereo to nav and I have a few questions:

1. From what I've read, I need model RNS-E, is that correct?
2. My car has Bluetooth and Sirius. How are these affected if I get the nav unit? Are they separate modules? Will they work with the nav unit?
3. Lots of EEUU units on E-Bay that claim to be unlocked and ready for US use. Any concerns? Should I assume that I lose Sirius ability if I buy one of those?

Very stoked. A 2007, light silver A4 with titanium package, xenons, s-line inside and out and navigation, oh AND a manual tranny. Looks so cool. I really dig the B8 A4s, but man, there is just something simple and classic cool about a B7 A4. Just looks so clean and tasteful. Will post pics soon if anyone cares. Wasn't sure about the silver, but it looks great with the titanium package, and aside from Bose (which I wanted but it doesn't have) this car had everything I wanted.
