that is bumper exposed not black paint. should i get this professionally taken care of? it's not big but its deep. i was thinking of getting the paintscratch.com spray can kit with primer. It comes with Basecoat, Clearcoat, Primer, Wax and Grease Remover, Rubbing Compound Bottle, Acrylic Lacquer Thinner all for about $50 + shipping. Ideas?

Default DAMN...sorry to see that

I had a similar experience about 6 months ago, except it's my rear drivers side door...and there is a small, but noticeable dent in the door line.....pissed me off to no end. Used some mothers clay to get most of the white paint off......if you want it done totally, take it to a few places and get quotes....I don't think you'll 'clay' much of that out....i feel your frustration! good luck.

Default It MUST have been Paris Hilton's friend

You may want to check out "colors on parade" that are a come to you and do repairs exactly like this. They have a web site that will get you in contact with the local franchisee in your area.

Default There are no such thing as a scratch-free/dentless daily driver in the world...

just use that DIY repair kit, it won't be perfect, but it adds "character" in the car.

offtopic: your first photo is highly artistic, I see a desert with 2 rocks and a dead body lying next to each other.
