Default oil change place recs (Fletcher jones is a ripoff)?

just moved to chicago w/ my 2001.5 S4. i am also a noobie to this forum so I was wondering if anyone could rec some place for an oilchange at a reasonable price (in addition)? I already bought the oil/filter. Chicago perf tuning in melrose seems like a good bet but a bit far.

Default You've hit the high points already

Fletcher Jones is a ripoff

CPT is good.

That's all you need to know.

Welcome to Chicago.

Default There are other places better than dealers......

CPT
VFC

but if you want to go to a dealer I would pick Continental and Laurel.

VFC is likely closer than CPT. But oil change is a DIY.

thanks for your help. Will prob start w/ CPT.. I may also have them do some After market work.
thoughts on GIAC vs APR vs Autospeed (they rec autospeed- which i have never heard of).
for DVV, Chip would be 7-800. Seem reasonable?

Default I would tend to agree with you, but

there are those folks who park in a parking garage. Certainly not the place to be doing an oil change.

You can bring beer to my house. 8-) Actually that offer true for several garages closer to you.
