Default Observation made during 2 hour commute last night......

of the countless cars I saw stuck in the snow or wedge on the curb trying to get up Maple Ave/Rt 53(if you know where it is, you know what I mean) in Lisle last night.... Most where 7 series Bimmers and S-class Merc... obviously the RWD ones but hilarious to watch regardless...... Hows that 80k "ultimate driving machine" working out for ya?!?! FAIL!! Also enjoyed watching a state trooper stuck trying to get himself out of snowed over shoulder...

Default There was two 7 series BMWs stuck in my way last night.

They would have been fine with proper tires.

I live near Maple and Yackley. I decided against taking Maple because I would be one of the few equiped to make it up the hill. I took Butterfield over to Naper since it was flat.

I was amazed at how much late braking I saw at the intersections.

Default Passed a 335 stuck in the left turn lane at that very intersection at about 5:10 last night

By the way, what's with all the cars driving down the expressway with their hazard lights on? Do they somehow think they're dealing with something that no one else expects?

Default I drove the 993 w winter tires last night and it was perfectly fine. Did some donuts in the Jewel

parking lot by my house (on Division/Ashland). Good times!
