Road America or Waterford Hills.

I know the tracks are two very different places.

RA is on a Monday and Tuesday, while WH is the weekend following. Is RA THAT much better that its worth taking the two days off work?

Like I said, I think I already know the answer, I just wanted to get input.

Default 2 different animals. Waterford event should be more fun besides the track time.

ie. more of us, including myself, going, I think.

Default RA's a world class track

Huge speeds, good for high HP cars but a place you should absolutely do regardless of what you drive. Waterford is kind of a dive and speed probably won't crack 100. That said I prefer Waterford. Probably the exception to the group but it suits my driving style better, you're always working and if you blow one turn the next one or two are shot as well. Not going to say Waterford is more technical because there's something very technical about slowing your car from 135-140 for a turn. Waterford also has the best food of any ACNA event I've been to and great crowd of participants. The other argument for Waterford is that if I were to pick one track that I thought was going to be swallowed up by suburban sprawl and go away, that would be it. The development around it in the last 6-7 years has been amazing. If you decide on RA just be sure to wear your baggy pants for the giant ***** you're going to need as you get into triple digits four times per lap!

Default I wish it were so simple as to say, "both tracks it is"

But, I told myself I was only going to 1 more event this year, and while I think that Waterford Hills is going to be a great time, I've kinda been getting myself amped up for RA ever since Mid-O.

Plus, my boss told me that I can take the days off without using vacation days, so I think Waterford Hills will have to wait till next year.

Default That's what happens when you tell yourself stuff.

RA is a world-class track - you'll enjoy it. Larry & Mary put on a great show and your car will get a chance to really stretch it's legs.

I'm doing Waterford and making plans to go to Barber in November.

Default Re: This may be a silly question,

Autobahn August 18th was near perfect, barring a few offs. We had a full house for a gorgeous day. Let's hope September 13th & 14th at Blackhawk Farms is the same.

Spots are still available for our Blackhawk Farms weekend. Please visit us at www.MVPTrackTime.com for details or to register.

Happy Motoring and I'll see you at the track!

Default If you want, we can split my room at RA.

It is a one room suite with a Queen hide-a-bed in the living room that is currently open. Your share would be ~$150 for both nights.
