Of course. I was in line at 5:45 this morning.
Five people in front of me and by the time the doors opened at 6:00, there were 50 people behind me. In 30+years of voting, I have never seen that many people show up at the polling place that early. Usually it's a half dozen or so.
While this has certainly been a contentious election process, it is nice to see that voters are actually participating in a participatory democracy. That probably means that all traditional results prediction models are out the window completely.
I do think it's shameful that some parts of the country make voters wait in line for 10 hours or so - simply shameful.
