Hmmm. An Audi C6 RS6 or base Porsche Panamera for $3500 less ...

Plenty of Cayennes fall into the same category. Why would the Panamera be any different?
I have yet to see a "tastefully enhanced" (sarcasm intended) Audi S8 but there are numerous Cayennes so modified running about the city. I would expect the Panamera to become popular among the DUB set based on badge, cost, and driving ease.

^^^ Did you forget about your comment on the Bentley?
You need to get out of H. Glen more often.
There are numerous plain old cars, including Benz, BMW and 300C, tastefully elevated to new aesthetic values in the city. I've have even spotted a black C5 A6 hobnobbing with chrome "$" wheels!

I particuarly like the homage to the current Ford Focus that can be seen in the chrome side vent trim...(/sarcasm)

Aaaaaaaaauuuuggggghhhhhh - make it stop, make it stop!!!

The retractable wing on the Turbo is "uber" cool ....
The wing, at the base of the backlight, raises at roughly 75-80 mph. After the car reaches 115 mph, the left and right sides of the wing extend outward.
The rest of the car leaves much to be desired. The interior, however, is probably one of a modern day Porsche's best. The only issues are minor details like the myriad of buttons and the exposed cup holder hole in the center armrest.
Autocar reports that the Turbo Panamera feels, once in Sport Plus mode, like a 911, in terms of drivability and performance. The Porsche engineers allude to 'Ring times being the fastest for any four door sedan and it eclipsing the times of many sports cars.
