+++Latest Canadian pricing from GIAC released+++

About GIAC
GIAC is a software engineering company with 15 years experience tuning cars. GIAC is known for creating "factory smooth" performance software with exceptional power and reliability. GIAC software replaces the standard software in your car's engine control unit. It is programmed to adjust ignition timing, fuel delivery, fuel metering, boost settings, rev limiters, and/or speed limiters to optimize performance and, in some applications, fuel economy. Performance-tuned programs are designed to dramatically increase torque and HP without sacrificing smooth drivability. Many programs are also created to accommodate numerous after market performance modifications.

1.8T [A4 | TT]
Price: $529
GIAC performance software for the 1.8T smoothly delivers a ~30-38 hp and ~55-60 ft-lbs gain.

GIAC offers two additional performance options to take greater advantage of some common bolt on hardware upgrades on the B6 A4 1.8t. The FXK03 and FXK04 chips are specifically designed to accommodate GIAC approved 36 lb injectors. This is an ideal upgrade for cars with exhaust, intake and, in the case of the FXK04, the K04 turbo. The FXK03 setup can yield up to 70-80 ft-lbs and 40-50 hp gains, while the proper FXK04 setup will allow another 15-20 ft-lbs and 18-28 hp over the FXK03.

2.0T [A3 | A4]
Price: $589
GIAC performance software for the 2.0T smoothly delivers a ~18-50hp and ~50-85 ft-lbs gain. For optimum power gains the software must be coupled with a cold air intake, exhaust, and the latest factory upgraded rail pump (although GIAC offers software options for all factory rail pumps).

3.2 [TT | A3]
Price: $429
GIAC performance software for the 3.2 smoothly delivers a ~5-13 hp and ~8-15 ft-lbs gain. For optimum power gains the software must be coupled with a cold air intake.

2.7T [S4 | A6 | allroad]
Price: $639
GIAC performance software for the 2.7T smoothly delivers a ~70-80 hp and ~80-90 ft-lbs gain. For optimum power gains the software must be coupled with a cold air intake.

3.0 30V [A4 | A6]
Price: $329
GIAC performance software for the 30 valve 3.0L smoothly delivers a ~6-10 hp. and ~6-12 ft/lbs. gain. For optimum power gains the software must be coupled with intake and exhaust.

4.2 [S4 | A6 | A8]
Price: $639
GIAC performance software for the 4.2L smoothly delivers a ~15-23 hp and ~15-28 ft-lbs gain. For optimum power gains the software must be coupled with a cold air intake.

*installation and taxes extra

because the chip doesn't do much for that engine.

I've heard of some issues with TT software. Can I go back to stock?

Default Just curious about the Allroad software...

...how much of a hit will the fuel economy take with the GIAC software?
Will the Tiptronic explode with the extra torque?
It already is the weak link in the car, and me thinks 1 extra ft.lb of torque will be enough to push it over the cliff.

Default Fuel economy is all dependent on your right foot

Once you have the extra boost under that pedal, it's hard to stay off it - trust me

Though, if you were to set the cruise to 100kmph and keep off it, most say they see a decrease in consumption due to the software.

Cheers
