So who's looking forward to the end of the (Audi)world as we know it?

Yes. It failed. But that was w/ trying to keep this similar formet over vB. Seems like this time
around we're getting vB no matter how much off the old style format we'll loose.
They (IB) needs to force it on this forum as it doesn't make sense for them not to have vB (which they own) on all their products. And AW has a large member base.
No more playing nice. Take it or leave attitude :-(

Well we'll see
Don't get me wrong, I like this format, and like any change, it takes a lot longer for people to adapt/learn the new format but in the long run, majority will stick around.
Besides what other forum out there *today* allows the majority of us shoot the *hit with everybody else? No where else, so most of us will still be around regardless of the format.

I've been on Vortex for a while and more active now that I drive a VW again...
... and the AW format is much easier to follow and more enjoyable to visit.
The threaded format on AW is far better than any other forum software and is a major reason for me to keep visiting here even after my audi is gone. If the format of the forum changes, I not sure how long I would stick around, if only to hear what the AWC gang is up to.

That's one thing for sure
One thing I hate about Fourtitude is the countless number of advertisement posts. Fortunately there is a "Firevorex" addon for Firefox where you can add speciifc posts to an "ignore" list, and a couple of other nice features.
Hopefully something similar to that could be developed for here if it ever switches to vb, or the kawfilter which I use is updated to work with vb.
