Hi everyone,
I recently got my hands on a 2015 A8. The car has Sirius all set up but I am unable to activate Sirius traffic through the Sirius people.
I was able to refresh the signal two nights ago to get the Sirius audio trial for 3 months thus the car has the ability to receive Sirius signals. I also see an icon for INFO on the MMI menu screen which I am assuming is for traffic information.
Last night, I updated the software of the MMI and noticed a few times the TMC icon on the bottom left would turn on, thus the car has the ability to receive traffic information. Sirius continues to tell me that my car is incapable of receiving traffic information and I should visit a dealership.
Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a remedy?

Traffic update won't work in Canada. The only way would be if you set up a US based sirius account.

Right, so you mean create a new account with a US based address? Then would I get the Canadian traffic information?

I tried creating an account online with a VPN and sirius USA but they told me the traffic info would only work in America.

I have Sirius traffic in both of my factory newer head units (Lincoln and Caddy) and the information works perfectly in Ontario!
