Rant - What is wrong with people and their rear "FOG" lights?...
I'm seeing more and more Audi drivers with rear fog lights on, when there's no FOG!!!
These lights are extremely bright and were designed that way to be seen when the visibility is poor, when it isn't, they're just bliding.
TURN YOUR REAR FOG LIGHTS OFF!!!
End of rant : )

Works great eh?
Fog lights are relay wired, you have to switch them on each time you turn off the ignition and turn the car on again. There's a reason for this: in Europe you will receive a ticket for using your fog lights when it is insufficiently foggy, at either end of the car.
North Americans don't know how to drive nor do they know how to drive safely.
Heck, North Americans drive around with their DRL's on at night...no tail lights. DRL's are sold as a safety feature! I see more cars without rear lights now than I saw cars with no lights before DRLs. That's progress.
How about a variation of DRL's? The front and rear lights turn on every time you switch on the ignition, go off when you switch off the ignition (SAAB and many Euro cars do this) and when you select OFF you can turn the lights out if you decide they are not needed.
Of course, photo cell activated lights are now 100% reliable so why not make those mandatory and solve all these issues.
