OT - Anyone know what this metal clip might be for?
Found it on the kitchen floor, and can't figure out what the heck it's for... looks familiar too, but I can't place it! Aargh!

Reminds of the links used for bike chains
Hmmm actually that looks like the same thing that is used for my belt-driven garage door opener to connect the belt to some other hardware.

Hmmm... or a type of U shaped circlip... maybe to hold the gas stove ***** on!
Our friggin' one year old pulls on anything he can get his hands on, so maybe it's from some kitchen appliance...
