New to Audi World and looking at buying a 2012 S4
Hi everyone!
I will be buying a 2012 s4 next month!
I did read on it on the web and found out that because of the Tsunami in Japan they won't come with a rear camera because some part are back order, but once available the dealership will install it. I then contacted a salesman in Montreal to confirm that, which he did but said on the S4 the camera is discontinue...
Is that correct? Or is he misinform? If he is right I think it suck that a car like the S4 doesn't come with that feature especially when you see some lower end car like Ford and Dodge with a camera.
Also if there is a salesman from either Ottawa or Montreal on this board that want my business feel free to contact me. ( I already test drove the car in June, I know exactly what I want and looking at buying a car in beginning of August)
Thanks and looking forward in driving my new car!!

Hi 2013AudiS4,
Yes I did buy a 2012 S4, it's been almost 6 months now and it has been good to me so far, no problem beside a little adjustment for the passenger headlights washer. I bought the premium s4, with NAV, sport Diff, Bang and Olufsen and the carbon fiber trim, so it's pretty much fully loaded and I have no regrets.
At first I not was going for the Premium version since I'm not a fan of leather but glad I did, love the keyless entry and start button I never have to take my key out of my pocket anymore. The garage opener is also nice to have so I don't have to carry the remote anymore. Also the headlight that turn with the car is pretty cool.
The must if your music fan is the Bang and Olufsen option at 1000$ extra. The sound is just amazing!!!
One thing I missed though is the manual transmission but on the s4 I though it suck (Keep in mind I had an Subaru WRX STi and the clutch and shifter was really sporty), the S4 was like driving an old man car, clutch had long travel same with shifter, I was really disappointed the reason is why I took the s-tonic, which is pretty good for an automatic and happy with it most of the time, but on some days I which it was manual
Overall Great car!!!
