Importing A6
Hi Did anyone import an A6 into Canada recently?
How was the experiences? Costs involved? Does Audi Canada honor the warranty?
Any information is appreciated.

Audi covers everything...
Factory warranty, certified warranty and also the audi prepaid service all cross borders.
Just make sure to get all the paperwork in order.
Follow the steps on riv.ca and you should be fine.

^^^ That's an excellent link! If you're doing it yourself, you won't need #6, but
follow that, make sure you have plenty of copies of everything and some $$$ in hand just in case.
The Recall Clearance letter is the biggest pain since you're at the mercy of the "Head Office".

Recall letter is really easy as long as you have the title of the car in hand >>>
Place I got mt TT from didn't send me the title and said that Audi Corportate would get it from them.
Turns out they were stupid and overnighted the title to me.
Once AoC has the title I got the letter within 3 days.
Anyone I worked with on the phone at AoC was SUPER nice and very helpful.
Also, print out any ads or things related to the listing of the car on a website. I hit a bit of a snag at the border when I didn't come up with the ad from autotrader.com to prove that I picked up the car online.
