I was the victim of a purposely intended "side-swipe" on the 410 today...

^^^ dumbest comment of the day^^^ it is not his fault someone got pissed off and wanted
to play smash-up derby. Yet he could have let himin, but it certainly isnt his fault for getting hit. It could possibly been avoided, but who is at fault is not in question, or else Alex would be getting the hit and run with dangerous driving charge.

You should probably think about what you're implying...
Essentially what you're saying is that it's the victim's fault that he was victimized; the girl's fault she was raped b/c she looked at a guy the wrong way or was wearing the right clothes; the person's fault for being shot because he looked at the shooter in a "dis-respectful way".
In retrospect, should Alex just have let the guy cut him off so as to avoid pissing the guy off? Probably. But, look at it this way...how many time do people do what Alex did and don't get driven off the road. Or, look at it another way: If Alex let the guy cut him off, what would be the next trigger that would ve caused the guy to run someone off the road: Maybe someone in front of him it the brakes too hard and this jackass would perceive it as an insult?
Points are: yes, we should be street smart, but, what we risk by blaming the victim rather than the criminal is the slide into loss of our basic rights and a tumble into constant fear. You've seen it over the past 20 years. Kids were alowed to play outside unsupervised b/c there were no child molesters. Now, everyone is afraid, b/c you never know.
