Ford products tend to be more reliable than Audi.

Default Why nobody wants to steal a Lexus ?

Because the damn thing doesn't break and so nobody needs (stolen) spare parts.

Default I did. "Million pleasures, but no satisfaction".

They didn't even acknowledge that the issue (with brakes) was worthy a closer look. Basically they made no attempt to view the situation from my perspective.

Default Not Capilano and not Open Road.

Though I had fairly bad experience with Capilano (they couldn't resolve the "Check Engine" issue in two days and effectively gave up) and the Open Road is at their fourth attempt to replace an instrument cluster for a friend of mine.

Default Have to say the dealers out here in Toronto haven't been all that bad

I know Agincourt has improved over the past eight years and in recent years, I don't really have a complaint other than the kid washing the cars used a wire brush or something on my rims (grrrrrrrrrrr).

Default a comment....

If I did not do the majority of the repairs to our Audi's over the years, the family would not have them. In fact when under warranty, I told them what to fix, otherwise it would not be done. Having said that, quattros(or Audis) are relatively complicated cars and need more maintenance then your standard Corolla. If your looking for Acura service intervals, then Audi is not for you. Do I think the cars should be more reliable or have a higher grade of quality control off from the start, yes.Their dealer network could use some attention, as well as some quality control with components on the cars which I believe they are addressing. Hopefully, with Porsche on board they might improve things service/repair wise(ie better techs + more technical info). You might look around though, not all dealers are alike.
Any cars power steering will grind if you hold them end to end. This should be avoided if at all possible, very hard on the power steering system. They missed on the brake diagnostics(probably a stuck rear cable or caliper) but rear brakes do wear out quicker on quattros due to the bias.
In bad weather and poor road conditions, there is nothing out there that comes close an Audi quattro. Best of luck with your next car.
Regards
