how often do you guys think u should do oil change? do u think the more frequent the better

Every 5k kms. I do it on the 5's so it's easy to remember when to do it.

Default What does your manual say? Do that.
I've done mine every 8,000km for 180,000km now.

Save your money. As long as you use synthetic, in the Canadian climate you will be fine.

I do 15000km OCI, using VW503.01 oil. Then again mine's a NA engine.

Wow, 15,000km. I personally would never exceed 8,000km.

just changed mine today, so far its been every ~6,000 kms with 5w40 synthetic
