Does your dealership offer you a free loaner for oil change service?
Last week I scheduled an oil change appointment with Audi of Richmond and my request for a free loaner was declined. By the way, my car is still under the warranty. When I was living in Toronto, I have always been able to get a free loaner from the dealership even for a simple oil change. Are dealerships only obligate to provide loaners for warranty work?

I only get one for warranty work and that's if I request in advance
When you were in Toronto, did you buy from Pfaff? They still do the courtesy car thing, but some/most dealerships have stopped the courtesy car thing.

My dealer offers a couple of services....
1) Because I am within 10 kms of the dealer, they will drive me to work, and back. But after 10:00 am and before 15:00, to avoid traffic.
2) For a fee (I think $60), they come to my office, leave a loaner, take my car for service, and either return it or have me go get it at the dealer. This is great if you have a major service, and you are very busy, and still need a car for work.

Nope... only if you bought from them as well, then maybe.
I was told loaner cars are only offered to those who bought the car from them initially, and even then you have to request in advance. Otherwise, they only offer free shuttle service. I believe loaner car issues are dealer specific, nothing to do with Audi.
Thought I read somewhere that Audi will offer a free loaner if the car needs to stay overnight for warranty work. Mine was in for routine service once when they found something that requires it to stay overnight, but I wasn't given any free loaner car even when I asked for one, maybe cause they knew I already rented a car earlier in the day...
