Default Awesome engine. I assume it is going into the B8?

<i>"The 2.0 TFSI engine is also available in the Audi TT Coupe and Roadster, S3, A4 Cabriolet, and A6 sedan and Avant models in three output versions: 125 kW (170 hp), 147 kW (200 hp) and 195 kW (265 hp)."</i>

Default If Audi knew anything and wanted to sell tons of cars they should just forget about their...

Underpowered/overweight cars (in general) especially their V6 3.2L and drop in the 272 HP 2.0TFSI motor as their base motor in the B8 A4 line up.

Now that would be a good start and that would beat any of their direct (BMW/Merc) and not so direct (Jap cars) competitors.

It's time for Audi to wake up and smell the coffee!

Just my $0.02.

Well fact of the matter, more 2.0Ts are sold in Canada than the 3.2 by a significant margin

its due to the sticker price and not the preference of the 2.0T over 3.2

Default What DON2.0T said below probably is correct. The way I see it the A4 should come with 4 engine...

Choices.

A4 - The base motor a 2.0 TFSI with 275 HP.
S4 - A 6 cylinder 3.0 TT with 375 HP.
RS4 - A 8 cylinder 4.2L with 420 HP.
And finally a 6 cylinder Turbo diesel motor.

All cars should come or have the option of either being ordered with a 6 or 7 speed manual or a well implemented DSG gear box. No looser Tiptronic no FWD either, all Quattros.

Note some of these motors could carry over to the A6 model (Diesel and V6 TT).

Also as a customer I should be able to order what ever option I want for any car. If I want a dressed up 2.0 TFSI A4 equipped like an RS4 then I should be able to place an order like that. Like wise if someone wants an A6 or a RS4 with no sunroof and/or no fancy options they should be able to do so.

I really hate this packaging thing they do with cars.

Again just my $0.02.

With higher gas price now, it'll be more of a preference than anything else
