Default I think it used to be...

... these guys but noticed their website isn't working anymore when it was a few weeks ago as they're just redirecting you to HTTP:/ww/default.asp.

Guess they *issed off a few people lately....

http://www.nationalwarrantydivision.com/

Default Do Not Call - not working

What was interesting is that the "do not call" service had a reverse effect. The idea is that anyone can buy that list to use as a "do-not-call list". What they are doing is using it as a call-list, yes, illegally. Problem is that no one has been fined yet. It is supposed to be $1500-$15000 per occurrence.

This list effectively became a fully scrubbed list - meaning that the list only contains real #'s, including mobile's because people voluntarily populated this list with valid #'s.

What's weird is I'm not on the DNC list, and I don't actually get very many calls and none on my 2 mobile's.

Default Aside from the annoying calls from the national warranty company in the US on my cell...

... which by the way, is not on the DNC list so they are getting this information in some other way and I can't figure out where exactly, I haven't received any unsolicited call on my land line which is on the DNC list for quite some time.

So is it working? It seems to be so far.

Default Thanks, I've been getting 416-000 a few times a week on my cell

Haven't answered as it looks fishy, but always wondered who it might be. I'll continue to ignore it.

Default I have the same experience.....

My land line is on DNC and my cell phone is not ... I am not getting any Telemarketing call on my land line. The only telemarketing call I get is on my cell from the national warranty people...how they get my cell number is a mystery because it is a relatively guarded secret :-)

Hum, come to think if it I did give my cell number out to the dealer once when my car is in service.... not sure if the national warranty call started before or after that service....

Default I just had a call from them and tried to keep them on the line as long as possible to tie them up...

and the guy eventually said ok I'm taking your number out of the list. Let's see if that actually happens. I think the most any of us can do at this point is waste their time.
