It has always been underpowered and always needed to to modified to get to the point that enthusiasts would appreciate. With 335 being a lot cheaper and a lot more tunable, I really think that S4 will lose its loyal customers. Perhaps it will gain some new ones, but true Audi loyalists who love the cars for their AWD platforms and turbo tunining potential will be disapointed. Its a slap in the face imho. First the V8 (which was bla in terms of Audi heritage) but atleast was a V8 and a good replacement for the unreliable 2.7T til a better engine would come along. BUT now come out with a V6 supercharger? Jokers! I would never become an Audi fan if it wasn't for AWD and turbos. If I wanted a supercharger, I'd get a GTP. This new S4 better be unbelievable in all other aspects of its offering with tuners able to squeeze another 100hp out of it with boltons or I'll be REALLY pissed...and even then I'd still wish it was a turbo. Its the first brand new Audi I was considering to get and was excited about...so much for that.
