Got the update disc (labelled up for A8, A6 and Q7) this morning and installed it into CD changer slot 1, did the hold down return and setup button hold down to bring up the system screen and then selected s/w update and selected run update.
All in all took about 15 minutes

Does this require an MMI update as well as a Nav disc update?

This is just an MMI update - I'm running the 2006 European Nav disc.

It may be a different part number for the US

Go to your local dealers,
order part number 4E0 906 961 T,
wait a few days,
go back and pay £1.55
take home and install

This is the European part no.

Can you email me the file? Paul.steman@mazars.nl.

Here in the Netherlands the dealers are really difficult. They keep on forgetting how much you pay for a car once you bought one. The service really s@@ks!

Many thanks in advance,

Paul
