Rear big Brake upgrade?
Has any one heard or done a rear big brake upgrate on B5 quattro?..... I know lots of people just upgrade to bigger rotor and still use the same caliper or they upgrade to S4 style caliper and vented rotor.. But im running Evoms stage 3 big brake kit on the front and would like something simular on the rear. I know some of you may think that its over kill and i know that most of the braking is done by the front but a good brake combination is never a bad thing especially on the track....
Ps im not interested in stoptec and loosing handbrake is not a problem

you can't just slap on larger rear brakes. You need a F&R brake system that's designed to work
together... or close to it.
I'm guessing your EvoMS kit is pieced together to work with stock rears or similar. By throwing on much larger rotors and stronger rear calipers, you're going to move bias heavily towards the rear, which will reduce squat on braking, but it's also going to make it very easy to spin out when trail braking, so be careful.
Sell your EvoMS kit and get a 4-wheel BBK that's designed to work together. If you don't want StopTech, then I guess you'll want the Brembo GT kit... which I'm sure Mike (PureMS) will be very happy to sell you
However, Simpply (Wicked Motorsports) is currently selling a 4-wheel StopTech kit off of his beast.
