This weekend I attended an ACNA event at Road Atlanta; it was my second driver's event and first time on my StopTechs with a fresh set of PFC-01s. My other modifications included Bilstein PSS9s, 17" Flik Hornets, and Falken Azenis. No chip - stock power.

As you may know, Road Atlanta has a long back straightaway that drops into a very slow lefthander. It's something that can quickly eat away at your brakes:

Running flat-out through the back straight, I managed about 120mph before entering the braking zone. As I progressed through the weekend, my confidence grew and grew in the StopTechs. With my confidence growing, I continued to push my braking points further and further down the hill. The results were always the same: consistent, fade-free braking. As a result, I was able to rapidly close on higher-horsepower cars (RS4, RS6, M3s, STIs, etc.) that had otherwise left me on the straightaway.

I'm sure my choice of tires helped, but I came away from the weekend enormously impressed with the StopTechs. I can't imagine I'll change anything on these brakes before my next ACNA event. good to know. where did you get your stoptechs?

Came with Axxis street pads (on their way out - yuck) and PFC-01s (fantastic!).
