Default Mintex "red box" pad's are they the way to go 95% Street & 5% track?

I'm also upgrading to S.S lines. What about slotted and Cross drilled rotor? Are they more for look's or do they really help improve braking?

Default Slots, yea, cross drilled, no.

Supposedly slotted does two things, allows gases produced to slip away, and the straight edge of the slot keeps the pads clean.

Cross drilled, crack.

Default if by track you mean a road course, then no. Mintex Red Box aren't even a very good street pad

as far as performance. They only got a good rep on this forum because of low dust compared to OEM pads, which is the wrong reason to pick a brake pad, imo.

Default You might try the Axxis Ultimates...

I upgraded to the StopTech stage 1 kit (ss lines, Motul RBF 600 and Axxis pads) on my 3.2 and so far no problems. I have only run Sears Point on that set up but will be doing Buttonwillow this weekend. The Axxis pads dust as much or more than the stock 3.2 pads.

FWIW, the stock set up handled 4 driving schools (Thunderhill, Laguna Seca, Spring Mountain & Willow Springs) just fine, except I did have some fade at Willow, but I think it was more fluid than pads. When I pulled the stock pads off, they had a lot of material still on them.

The 3.2 brake system is really excellent, you might just want to try upgrading your brake fluid.
