Default ECS BBK kit ffor what??

I purchased this kit for the calipers under the impression they were carreera calipers or boxster S. Turns out they are non S boxster calipers and wont fit my setup. Unfortunatly this was after powder coating them.

The brackets it came with are from ECS Tuning. Based on the numbers ECS has only told me they are for a volkswagen/Audi stage II.

Mounting bracket numbers. ECS #1007c / 10174423
SS lines 571.106 #106 precise lines

Seller is worthless and keeps telling me they came off a carrera which is BS. Shoulda been more careful. Anyone know what this kit goes to?

Why wont they fit? Sounds like a bracket issue if anything

Boxster S = carrera (non-S) calipers
Boxster = smaller, should fit wherever a S fits
both terrific, Brembo calipers

I wish they did fit. They bracket i have is for bizarre s calipers and sti rotors on my celica alltrac. Rotors are too thick and bracket doesn't line up with the incorrect calipers. The plan is to figure out what this was for and sell it as a kit so that I can purchase the correct set for my setup.

Is there a part number on the bracket? If so I could probably look it up and figure out which model they fit.

sorry i can;t help. While i may be wrong, i thought that for a given year, boxster and S calipers were direct bolt-ons. In fact i believe BoxsterS = 996 (aka carerra; aka 911) non-S.

So its unclear what exactly you have.

The only part number that is coming up is ECS # 1007c. If you could help out that would be great!

Never mind. One of the reps up at ECS helped me out. Gary. Not sure if you two are in the same place but if so tell him I said thanks again. I tried that twice before and the reps wouldnt help me.

Turns out its for an mk4 or b5 with 12.3' rotors. Stage 2 kit. I will be posting it up for sale shortly.

Thanks!,
James

After looking up the bracket part number it looks like these are Boxter calipers and the brackets are for B5 A4/C5 A6 2.8V6/B5 Passat.

Default mystery kit FS or sold already?

interested in your kit, but have a question.
1. how much you asking
2. where are you located?
3. what is included. calipers(2) carriers(2)-what type? I have TT carriers for the A4 stock set to use A8(D2) rotors now.
4. what rotor size is used with kit? and are they included?
5. what else would I need to install them

I am in the market to replace all 4 rotors. have Stasis's rear 2-pc kit / going back to one piece -- Stasis is not helpful to get replacement rings, and not giving them any more $$$
