I'll concede that the B6 and B7 are probably more refined, the V8 sounds sweet, stock vs stock they're faster but... nothing makes me giggle like mashing gas in my stage 3 B5. The torque makes passengers visibly sink deep into their seat and their eyes get as big a saucers. The exhaust wail on the 2.7T is the best sounding 6 banger I've ever heard.
