A great machine will be the Metabo, the learning curve is quick. Its lighter or just about the same weight as the PC and it doesn't have pull like the other machines.
The Makita is great as well.<ul><li><a href="http://detailersdomain.com/index.asp?PageAction=MFGSEARCH&ManfID=8&Pa ge=1">Metabo</a></li></ul>

Do you sell accessories for milwaulkee or makita polishers? I was looking for polishing pads. Are
the pads pretty much one size fits all machines?

Click below to find the rotary adapters and pads.
We have the Makita as well.<ul><li><a href="http://detailersdomain.com/index.asp?PageAction=MFGSEARCH&ManfID=17&P age=1">Lake Country Pads 4 inch and 6 inch and the rotary backing plates</a></li></ul>

I've used Metabo, Makita, and Flex rotary (not DA)..
and I think Makita is easiest to use from these three for beginners.
Metabo is light but not ergonomic..
and if you dont hold it properly, it will over heat.
Makita is moderate heavy, quite, and very ergonomic. And affordable.

No, you should check what minum speed is and also.. (m)
you MUST look for machine that has Electronic Speed Control.
Electronic Speed Control is a function that
gives rotary consistant speed.
Usually, when you push down the machine, more friction occurs between the pad and surface. If you dont have ESC, your machines will slow down due to more friction, and you dont want that happending... many cheap machines doesnt have ESC (Porter Cable Rotary doesnt have one)

Well, Flex rotary is my favorite... (m)
Ok,
Flex is the most expensive of these three,
But it is the much more powerfull and heavy enough to detail roof much easier..
I assume you know how to use the rotary, and you understand that sometime, you have to apply pressure to the rotary in order to get better result. And the weight of the Flex is actully helping this process when you are doing the roof. Becuase it's difficult to apply pressure when you are buffing the roof.
My complain about Makita is the low speed torque being too weak. It tends to have some lag on the beg. And it is really annoying to me, and somehow I got better result with Flex on the slow speed when I was doing back and forth comparison.
Metabo is not ergonomic at all. I dont know why they built it that way. It tend to overheat if you dont hold it correctly, because its cooling fan is where you usually hold on other rotaries, but very light and give less stress to your body. It does have stronger motor than Makita and I think it gives 3yr warranty while Makita gives only one year.
Flex is the strongest, heavies, loudest, and most expensive, but it is almost bullet proof and very ergonomic.
