Wash Mitts -- Sheepskin vs. MF -- Which is Better?
MF towels, etc. undoubtedly are the best for detailing, wax removal, drying, etc. and NOT scratching, spider webbing, etc. the car's finish.
So why the preference to use sheepskin mitts to wash instead of MF, e.g., MF mitt, sponge or towel?
I am supposing it is the sheepskin's ability to grab the dirt, dust, etc, and hold it up in the fibers away from the car finish to avoid scrathing and do so better than an MF mitt/sponge/towel?
Any experience/recommendations?

I have been using the fluffy version of the MF mitt from Target with no scratching
this mf mitt basically looks like a sheepskin one but is mf.
I just bought some mf wash mitts from costco, the ones with the long mf hairs. I have not used them yet but I am hoping they work well because of the cost.

MF excels at grabbing and trapping stuff...
It's not so good at releasing that stuff though. That's bad if you're running it across dirty paint and expecting a dip on the bucket will "clean" it. But it's great if you're using it to remove polish/wax, and you have a bucket of spare clean MF handy when that towel cakes up with product.
Lambwool releases dirt pretty easily imho. The only thing better might be a boarshead brush.

Re: costco ones work well enough for me but then again I'm only a detailing n00b
I use the Costco MF ones for my ONR washes and have yet to notice any damage done to my paint or cars I've detailed paint. The only time I had an issue was with my Schmitt wash pad when doing my cobalt blue Allroad. It was extremely nasty and dirty from a few snowstorms that rolled through St. Louis and salt. No matter how gentle I was, it caused some light scratching on the paint. Hindsight being 20/20 (and what I do now) is I should've pre-treated it with a foam cannon or pre-cleanser, such as 1z Anti-Insect + Pre-Cleaner.

good to hear about the costco mf wash mitts, very cost effective IMO for short uses.
Since I purchased the foam gun I almost always use it before I wash. Yeah it adds a little time but worth it even if it just saves a little scratching from too much dirt.
