yup, but a white hazing sound like what happens when...
a harsh chemical is put on a wheel with a clearcoated lip. It happens all the time. I'm not familiar with the product the OP used and whether it is too harsh for these wheels.
if that is the problem, usually there isn't much that can be done, short of removing the CC and just maintaining them with regular metal polish.
Maybe BlkJet should try a clearcoat safe wheel polish first?... it should be more gentle.

hmmm... I think I used Mothers clearcoat wheel polish once or twice on my old wheels...
I don't really remember being too thrilled with it, and its hard to find.
I wish I had another option for you. Look around for polish that is specifically labeled as safe for clear coated wheels.

The lips are polished (not anodized). Centers might be anodized.
Anyway, as I said below, if you want something immediately, Mothers Billet Aluminum polish. If you're willing to wait, Phil sells some good metal polish on his website.
