I posted this in the Q5 specific forum, but thought others who are considering the Gtechniq coatings might be interested.

My local detail shop (Watershed Auto Care in Simi Valley, CA) applied Gtechniq Crystal Serum and Exo Nano Coating. The SQ5 looks amazing and will stay this way.

For reference, my SQ5 is 8 months old and has 12,600 miles on it.

Dustin. Can you tell me why you chose Crystal Serum over OptiCoat Pro+? I've been doing a lot of research lately and everyone leans towards the Pro Plus, but the actual Pro Plus applicator closest to me is pushing the crystal serum. I'm asking because I'm having a full front clear bra installed on my new RS7.
The Opti coat Pro installer is insisting that switching to Crystal Serum is a better choice as it is a far better product, but the bra installer is offering me a huge discount if I get the bra and Opti coat done at his place as opposed to just having their product at his place and doing the crystal Serum at a different place. Definitely want to make sure I get the right product comma and want to make sure I don't waste my money.
