Default Diesel smell removal

During the recent week long power outage in Seattle, I had to get some kerosene for a space heater and managed to spill some on the back seat of my A8. Anyone with a good idea on how to remove the smell? I cleaned it pretty well, but the tell-tale odor lingers and lingers.

Default A thought

there's that stuff sold in pet stores for removing pet odors, which are pretty gnarly. I think the major brand is Nature's Miracle or somesuch. You might try repeated applications of small amounts of that covered with a towel.

Default not a bad idea, in the meantime

he should also consider leaving some Baking Soda containers in the car for a few days. It may help absorb some of the odor as well.
